Purinol Tablet 100mg
DESCRIPTION
Purinol is indicated for reducing urate/uric acid formation in conditions where urate/uric acid deposition has already occurred (e.g. gouty arthritis, skin tophi, nephrolithiasis) or is a predictable clinical risk (e.g. treatment of malignancy potentially leading to acute uric acid nephropathy).
It is a white, round, biconvex tablet.
INGREDIENT
Each Tablet contains 100mg Allopurinol
INDICATIONS
reducing urate/uric acid formation.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Adult: 1 to 2 tablets daily
CAUTIONS
Purinol should be withdrawn immediately when a skin rash or other evidence of sensitivity occurs.
Reduced should not be used in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
