DESCRIPTION
Procodine Syrup is effective in relieving of cough and the spasm of whooping cough. It is
a yellow, clear syrup with peach flavour.The active ingredients of Procodine Syrup are as follows:
Promethazine Hydrochloride is an antihistamine to relieve allergic symptoms
Codeine Phosphate functions as a cough suppresant.
Ephedrine Hydrochloride functions as a bronchodilator and nasal decongestant.
INGREDIENT
SEach 5ml of Procodine Syrup contains:
Promethazine Hydrochloride 4 mg
Codeine Phosphate 9 mg
Ephedrine Hydrochloride 8 mg
INDICATION

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Adults and children above 12 years: 7.5-15ml three or four times daily.
Children 5 to 12 years: 3.5-7.5ml three or four times daily
Children 2 to 5 years: 1.5ml three or four times daily
Children under 1 year: Not recommended
CAUTIONS
This may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
It is dangerous to exceed the stated dose
