DESCRIPTION
Pholocodine Syrup provides relief of unproductive cough. It is
clear orange red syrup are
encountered with the use of codeine. They act on the brain to hold back the
cough reflex.
They are used for dry coughs only.
INGREDIENT
Pholcodine Syrup contains pholcodine 5 mg / 5mL.
INDICATIONS
relief of unproductive cough.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
A maximum of four doses per day should not be exceeded.
Adults:
5 ml medicine measures every four hoursChildren 6 to 12 years: 2.5 m
l - 5 ml every four hours
CAUTIONS
Restlessness, excitement ataxia and respiratory depression may occur with
overdosage. Treatment is symptomatic.
Nausea and drowsiness may occur.
