DESCRIPTION
Liquid Paraffin Emulsion 50% is a type of
laxative which lubricates the fecal material and intestinal walls by hindering
the adsorption of water from the intestinal tract. Increased water retention in
the bowel would increase the bulk of stool and hence promote evacuation.

INDICATIONS
Occasional constipation
CAUTIONS
Avoid prolonged use for more than one week
Not recommended for children less than 3 years of age
Store in a cool place
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Adult: 10-30ml at night when required or as directed by physician
Children: As directed by the physician
Containers of liquid paraffin emulsion should be shaken well before use
