Paracetamol suspension 250 mg/5mL
DESCRIPTION
Paracetamol suspension is orange colour suspension with orange odour.
It contains the active ingredient paracetamol, which is a medicine used to
relieve mild to
moderate pain. It is also useful for reducing fever.
Paracetamol can be used to relieve mild to moderate aches and pains associated
with
conditions such as headaches, migraine, toothache, teething, colds and
flu. It is also useful for
reducing fever and discomfort associated with colds and flu and following
vaccinations.
INGREDIENT
Each 5ml contains
paracetamol 250 mg.
INDICATIONS
Relief mild to moderate
pain and fever.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Infants 3 to 12 months 2.5 ml
Children 1 to 4 years 2.5 to 5 ml
Children 5 to 8 years 5 to 10 ml
Children 9 to 12 years 10 ml 15 ml
Repeat 3 to 4 times daily if necessary. Maximum 4 doses daily. Do not exceed the stated dose.
CAUTIONS
Dosages in excess of those recommended may cause severe liver damage.
Patients suffering from liver or kidney disease should take paracetamol under
medical supervision.
Do not use continuously for more than 10 days without consulting your doctor.
