Doan's Ointment
Doan's Ointment is well acknowledged
over its long history for its effectiveness in relieving the tormenting
discomfort and itching
caused by piles and
eczema.
One of the ingredients, phenol, is a bactericide which, in concentrated
solution, is destructive to tissues. It is used as a germicide
and is effective against certain viruses.
INGREDIENTS
Doan's Ointment contains zinc oxide 25% w/w and phenol 1.6% w/w.
INDICATIONS
Cuts,
Abrasions,
Minor burns,
Skin irritations
Eczema.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Clean the
affected area before applying Doan's Ointment. Protect the affected parts with
gauze or linen if necessary. Repeat as
and when required.
For cuts, abrasions, minor burns, skin irritations and eczema, apply Doan's
Ointment direct or on lint.
For discomfort and itching of external piles, rub in gently and bedtime and
after motion of the bowels.
