Aqueous Calamine Cream
DESCRIPTION
Aqueous calamine cream is
usually used to treat
pruritus
(itching of the skin). Itching can be
caused by a number of conditions
including insect bites and stings, eczema, psoriasis, nettle rash, chicken
pox, measles, jaundice or scabies. One of the ingredients,
calamine,
can produce cooling effect. This cooling effect helps to divert your body's
attention from itching.
Owing to this cooling
effect, it is also effective for the relief of sunburn.
INDICATIONS
Relieve itching, pain and discomfort of minor skin irritations.
INGREDIENTS
Aqueous Calamine Cream contains calamine 4% w/w and zinc oxide 3% w/w.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Apply enough medicine to cover affected skin area and rub it gently.
