Aluminium Hydroxide Suspension 300mg/5ml

DESCRIPTION

Aluminium Hydroxide Suspension is a potent antacid for prompt relief of ulcer pain and excessive secretion of gastric acid.

　

INGREDIENT

Each 5ml of the suspension contains 300mg of aluminium hydroxide dried gel.

　

INDICATIONS

For ulcer and non-ulcer dyspepsia; gastro-oesophageal reflux; hyperphosphataemia

　

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Dyspepsia, gastro-oesophageal reflux:

ADULT 5–10 ml suspension 4 times daily between meals and at bedtime;

CHILD 6–12 years 5 ml up to three times daily

Hyperphosphataemia:

ADULT 30 ml daily in divided doses with meals

　

CAUTIONS

Do not take other medicines within 2–4 hours of aluminium hydroxide preparations. May be taken with water to reduce

constipating adverse effects.
